Mapletree Industrial Business Leadership Talk (6 April 2010)
Mapletree Industrial recently launched a Mapletree Industrial Business Leadership Talk series where eminent speakers will share their experience on topical subjects.
The inaugural talk was held over a luncheon on Tuesday, 6 April 2010 at Resorts World Sentosa Convention Centre. The invited speaker was Mr Sunny Verghese, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Olam International Limited. The topic was “Building an Emerging Market Multinational”.
The inaugural talk was very well-received by participants. We also received many positive responses such as “It was an insightful talk”, "very interesting" and “One of the best I’ve heard”

Seminar: "Shocking News about your insurance" (11 Mar 2010)
Wish to learn more about your protection needs in this volatile climate?
Mapletree Industrial invited Fin-exis Pte Ltd, an independent financial agency, to share some little-known facts about insurance policies. The inaugural talk was conducted at The Strategy. The seminar highlighted terms and conditions within an insurance contract that one should be aware of to ensure that the policy meets one’s needs.

Health Screening on Wheels (Jan to Mar 2010)
Mapletree Industrial collaborated with the Health Promotion Board to bring health screenings to tenants’ doorstep. Mobile screening buses were rolled out to the industrial properties offering common screening services such as screening for blood pressure, cholesterol levels, glucose levels, mammography and pap smear. Nurse educators were also invited to give educational lunchtime talks on chronic disease management.
The mobile screening buses were deployed to our tenants at Kallang Basin, Kolam Ayer, Kaki Bukit, Toa Payoh and Loyang and will be going to the other clusters in the next few months. Watch out for the buses!
Chinese New Year (Jan 2010)
Mapletree Industrial celebrated Chinese New Year with its tenants. Mandarin oranges and hampers were delivered to all our valued tenants.
